This is an unsolicited letter from two of our clients after they returned from a three week Botswana safari. Jan is retired now but used to own a travel agency herself, so we were especially pleased to hear her remarks. Following this letter is a second letter from Jan that we recently received after planning their second three week trip to Botswana scheduled for November, 2007.
We greatly appreaciate Jan's kind words and want to assure all of our clients that we will strive for the best possible safari experience for them as well.

Dear Ken,
Africa: amazing, awesome. Words can't describe how magnificent it is in all respects. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you so much for the planning. It couldn't have been better. You must have listened to exactly what we wanted and voila! you delivered. A perfect vacation--the highlight of our well-travelled careers. Yes, we want to go back. Everyone should have the experience of being there at least once in their lifetime.
The camps were so comfortable, the food nothing but gourmet, the managers all unique, interesting people and the staff all there because they wanted to be. We never met an individual who considered their work just a job. The trackers and guides were excellent, all raised in the bush and so very knowledgeable.
Each site was so different, and you planned for us a great balance of wet and dry locations. Each site brought a new and exciting experience. The highlight was the hide at Savuti. We could have returned again and again and never tired of being so close to so many animals. We didn't miss a vehicle trip in spite of the 5AM rising.
(Kinda like camp, isn't it.) but well worth the effort. We had our 7 cheetah day, the 14 lioness pride, the 9 baby lions waiting for Mom, the fight between wild dogs and hyenas that ended up under our vehicle, a close encounter with a rather angry elephant, an aardvark at night, a fish eagle with a catfish so heavy he had to swim to shore and more, more more.
Next time we'd like to stay at least 3 nights per concession. Moving day cut into my siesta time. The pilots were are friendly and the flights all on time. What a logistics problem to get everyone moving around!
We are now recovered from jet lag (whew, what a long way home) and are pouring over well over 2000 photos. Thank goodness for our new digital cameras. Bill brought his laptop but the fan broke the first day. Luckily he was able to download bit by bit on to an auxilliary hard drive.
As you can see by the above effusion, the memories have not begun to dim and the photos recall exceptional experiences. I never imagined we would see so many animals and that they would be so close. Six to ten feet is pretty close! And as long as we were in the vehicle they simply ignored us -- amazing.
So thank you, thank you, thank you for such brilliant planning. It was exactly what we needed and you came through with 5 stars. Let us know if you need exceptional photographs, more comments, and you have our permission to use our glowing statements.
Thanks again, Jan and Bill M.
This letter was received from Jan and Bill as we were finalizing their custom itinerary for a three week safari to Botswana in November, 2007.

Ken: You are a wonder. The itinerary sounds perfect! I'm excited about both Mombo
and Namibia. We had friends who liked Kwando Lebala and as we said before, returning
to Muchenje and Savuti is fine with us -- or anything else that will work into the
itinerary.
We really don't need a private vehicle at all the sites but thanks for trying to set
this up for us. It would be nice to be able to let the photographer determine the
timing -- but we certainly saw EVERYTHING last time and had no complaints with
others in the Land Rover. Whatever works from now on is fine with us. . . .
Thanks for your efforts on our behalf. It is wonderful to be able to plan again. . . Having
owned a travel agency I know how much work (and phone time and e-mail time and
stress goes into getting just the "right" stuff and you do do just that. Thanks again
and again....
We will be in touch soon.
Jan and Bill
